Porto Santo Stefano

 For the first time I had the pleasure of attending the Palio of Porto Santo Stefano in Tuscany on the day of 15th August. The hat was essential to stay all day in the sun and watch the parade and the maxidress, besides being extremely comfortable and suitable to the sea, combined with the colors of the Contrada Valle, who had won the prize of the past Palio.

Per la prima volta ho avuto il piacere di assistere al Palio marinaro di Porto Santo Stefano in Toscana il giorno di ferragosto. Il cappello è stato indispensabile per poter stare tutto il giorno sotto al sole ed assistere alla parata e al successivo palio e il maxidress, oltre ad essere estremamente comodo e adatto al mare, si abbinava ai colori della contrada Valle, che aveva vinto il passato Palio.

Casperia Festival

A Saturday spent in the medieval village of Casperia between fairies, pixies, gnomes, rivers of beer and dancing on the notes of Irish music.

Last afternoon I felt slightly better and I didn't want to stay home because it was a warm and sunny day, then I went for a walk in the green at Villa Borghese, my favorite Roman park. I opted for an extremely comfortable look: silk shirt, jeans and flat shoes without earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings.

Ieri pomeriggio mi sentivo leggermente meglio e non avevo voglia di rimanere a casa vista la calda e soleggiata giornata quindi sono andata a fare una passeggiata nel verde a Villa Borghese, la mia villa romana preferita. Ho optato per un look estremamente comodo :camicia di seta, jeans e ballerine senza orecchini, collane, bracciali e anelli.

Spring is back!

Spring is back even this year! I took advantage of the very first sunny day to wear my Balmain-like Zara jacket ...the shoulder pads make me fell imposing even if they aren't exaggerated! Unfortunately these photos do not make the idea of how much light there were and why my face have these expressions...sorry, but with contact lenses I struggled to keep my eyes open because the sun made them weep. Back home I have seen the results : thanks to the smudged rimmell I looked like a panda! 

Anche quest'anno è tornata la primavera! Ho approfittato della prima vera giornata di sole per indossare la giacca di Zara simil Balmain...le spalline mi fanno sentire imponente anche se non sono eccessive! Purtroppo queste foto non rendono l'idea di quanta luce ci fosse e del perchè la mia faccia abbia delle simili espressioni....scusatemi, ma con le lenti a contatto ho faticato a tenere gli occhi aperti perchè il sole me li faceva lacrimare. Tornata a casa si sono visti i risultati: grazie al mascara sbavato sembravo un panda!
